Today I got to spend the day at King Richard's Faire with some of my closest friends (and my mom and my sister). I feel really lucky today: to be alive, to be happy, and to have some of the most genuine people in my life. I know this isn't really "fashion related" but I really wanted to share.

Outfit details: Flower crown from King Richard's Faire, Theory leather jacket, H&M dress and tights, Deux Lux bag, vintage rings, boots by Steve Madden, and Prada sunglasses.

There's no denying that leather is the 'it' trend right now. Despite how trendy it is, I think leather is going to be in forever. Leather leggings have been seen everywhere and on just about every celebrity lately (thank you Kimye). There's almost no where you can't wear leather leggings to. So style away! Here are some of my ideas on styling leather leggings or pants, hope they help!

This look is a perfect night time look no matter where you are going. Throw on a white tank top underneath or a graphic tee to dress it down. I'm obsessed with these YSL heels with the ankle cuffs! Ready to go look, just add sock bun!

This is a great outfit for school. Throw on a satchel and grab your books and you're good to go.

This outfit can do no wrong whether you are running errands or going shopping. I love changing it up by wearing a burgundy legging and adding a black jacket, so edgy!

Leather leggings 2

Something about leather leggings and a fresh ass pair of Jordans really does it for me. I just want to travel so that I can wear this at an airport. The best thing about this look and take off your Js and throw on some black heels and you're ready to go out. So hott!

Adding feminine pieces to a pair of leather leggings like this blush colored peplum jacket
and this pearl clutch makes even the edgiest piece look girly. I am OBSESSED with these Soiree heels by Jeffrey Campbell GIMME!

How are you wearing your leather leggings this season?

Leather jacket from Theory, Forever 21 tank, H&M pants, bag and sunglasses from eBay, watch by Marc by Marc Jacobs, J.Crew bracelet, and Vince Camuto flats.

Since classes have started up I have been toning it down and trying to keep it casual. I'm usually walking from building to building, to my car, down the street to Starbucks, or all over the place so boots, flats and sneakers (and sneaker wedges!!!!) have been my new best friends (sorry heels!). I also am VERY happy to have my hair all back to brown. It was ombre for as long as I can remember and then pink dip dyed for a few weeks. I must admit I do feel really confident with my dark hair back.

PS. Meet my new leather jacket for this fall! I'll be showing it to you guys in a second fall haul I will be doing within the next couple of weeks (which these pants will also be in) so stay tuned for that.

As some of you might know (or not) I had my Johnson and Wales University orientation these past two days. Because I'm a commuter and a transfer student (and a little bit older than most incoming "freshman" or new students) I was kind of worried about meeting people but I ended up having a pretty good time and meeting some cool people. The campus is really pretty and in the most perfect area of Providence. I can't wait to start classes next week. I kept my looks really casual (we were inside, outside and walking all day) but I still think they represented my personal style well. I'm obsessed with these embroidered BDG jeans from Urban Outfitters. I know I am going to have to force myself NOT to wear them everyday, they rule. By the way, is it fall yet?!

Outfit 1: Grey boyfriend tee from Victoria's secret PINK, Nine West suede booties, XL lennon sunnies from Shade's Plus (Providence, RI), MAC Pink Plaid lipstick, Marc by Marc Jacobs watch, Alex & Ani bangles, and BDG jeans from Urban Outfitters.

Outfit 2: Deena and Ozzy sneaker wedges from Urban Outfitters, Ray Ban wayfarers, Marc by Marc Jacobs watch, Rabito iphone case, Cheap Monday t-shirt, and Joe's Jeans leather skinnies.

I thought, what would be more appropriate to post after a Fall's Essentials List than a fall haul? So I filmed a haul of all the things I've picked up within the last month or so for this fall. Again, I apologize for the shitty camera quality but I took pictures of everything to make up for it. Hope you guys like what I got! Hopefully I'll get some outfit posts up this week with some of the new stuff!

Boots and hats from Aldo. Sneaker wedges, Cheap Monday tee, and embroidered jeans from Urban Outfitters. Boyfriend tees from Victoria's Secret PINK. XL round sunnies from Shade's Plus (Providence, RI). All magazines from Target and Walgreens.

Who else is as excited for the fall as I am?! Transitioning pieces from season to season is something I love trying to do to keep my favorite pieces around. Keep your destroyed denim shorts, floral maxi dresses, hi low skirts, and floral denim in your closet and transition them into fall with some awesome (and some of my favorite) fall pieces.

Destroyed denim shorts

Everyone loves their favorite pair of high waisted denim cut offs, so why rid them so early? Pair your favorites with thigh high socks, printed loafers, and a quilted cross body bag. Keep yourself warm with a fatigue jacket and add a little sass with a red lip (the perfect touch)!

Floral maxi dress

Many people think a floral maxi dress is for the summer only but it's easily warmed up with a denim jacket, a beanie and some combat boots. Complete this girly/edgy look with a belt, some fun gold jewelry and a leather backpack.
The maxi skirt

The hi-low skirt was such a hit this summer, don't give up on it now! Wear it with a pop colored boyfriend tee, some studded moto boots and an awesome leather jacket. I think this canvas tote is a great way to dress it down with a cool graphic. Don't forget to add some rings! A lot of them!

Printed jeans

How awesome are floral jeans? I can't get enough! Wearing bright printed jeans this fall is easily done. Tone the colors down with some taupe pieces like a cross over sweater and some suede booties. Add somes gold cuffs, black polish and a burgundy bag for some fall color fun. This look has to be my favorite summer to fall transition and nothing tops it off like a wool floppy hat (my favorite accessory for this season) does!

FALL HURRY UP!

Packing your own lunch just got cool. This $630 USD Jil Sanders leather lunch bag makes carrying around your lunch just another fall accessory. The bag is made in Italy and comes with a dust bag.

Since most of us can't imagine spending over $600 on a lunch bag (Gawd I wish I was a Kardashian),  I have also set eyes on similar (but cheaper) styles like these leather lunch bags by Marie Turnor. Marie Turnor's The Snak collection consists of several colors of these cute lunch bags ranging from $117-$135 USD. The Snak bags are handmade in California and come with invisible magnets to keep shut.

Etsy shop HomesteadLeatherWrks also made a leather lunch bag for the affordable price of $47 USD. Not only are they cute and cheap but they are backed up with a lifetime guarantee, how cool is that?

As much as I have been enjoying the summer, I'm extremely excited for the fall. Not only do I love the wardrobe transition but I'm anxious to get back to school. I know that sounds crazy, but I'm starting a new college this year and am excited for all of my courses and exploring the new campus. Whether you're a high schooler or a college commuter everyone wants to look good while being casual for class (well not everyone, there are those who prefer their daily yoga pants). I put together a few outfit ideas for back to school featuring some of my favorite summer to fall transition pieces. Hope this helps!

Back to School ONE

Sneaker wedges = cute and casual (NEW OBSESSION). Add a pair of sneaker wedges to some destroyed jeans, an edgy shredded tee, and a studded leather backpack. To accessorize throw on a grey beanie and some silver jewelry!

Back to School TWO

The perfect transition from summer to fall are the beloved tights! Add a pair of colored tights to some printed shorts, a cropped t-shirt, and some ankle booties. Throw your notebooks and lipstick into a cute denim backpack and wear some funny sunnies or vintage jewelry.

Back to School FOUR

Printed denim is making such a huge statement and I think class is a perfect place to wear a pair! When you pair a peplum top with just about anything it adds the perfect amount of fem! To edge it out a bit add a studded bag, a cute bangle, and red accessories (like lipstick and a skinny belt).

Back to School THREE

I've been obsessed with this '1991 sweatshirt top' by Wildfox Couture since I first laid eyes on it. I want to wear it with leatherette leggings, a quilted chain bag and some colorful sneaker wedges (AHH too cute). I also think a beanie and a pair of gold heart earrings give the look a piece of edge and a piece of fem (I live for that shit).

Back to School FIVE

If you've read my blog or know me personally you know about my love for all things leather (especially the jacket). The perfect way to make a cute summer dress more fall like/casual is by adding a black leather jacket and some cool leather boots (I love these cut out boots by Jeffrey Campbell, so awesome). Add some gold bangles, a contrasting leather backpack, a subtle lip color, and my favorite scent (Marc Jacobs Daisy) to complete the perfect mix between girly and rocker.

What are you wearing this school year?!
