I haven't blogged in well...a fucking while. I apologize to anyone who may religiously follow my blog and who was disappointed when I basically fell off the face of the blogspot planet. The weather here in New England has been really awful. Lots of cold and lots of snow and it had really put me into a fashion slump and I wasn't feeling inspired AT ALL. Now that the weather is getting a little bit warmer (slowly but surely) I think I need to get back on track with this thing. I read a couple articles on arranging your room to feel like/look like a boutique so that getting dressed feels like shopping rather than an obstacle of trying to figure out what to wear. I guess the fact that my room currently looks like the piles of clothes at the Garmet District really isn't helping. I am getting anxious for the real spring weather to FINALLY arrive so that I can do my spring cleaning and spring closet transition and keep myself motivated and inspired.

Decided I would share my outfit of the day with you today and a crazy find I came across after class today when I popped into Urban Outfitters. I saw the sales lady putting a pair of Unif Hellbounds on the sale shelf and picked them up to check out the sale price out of curiousity. I think I almost cried when the price said $19.99. I immediately asked her if they were REALLY $19.99 and if there was a reason why. She basically just told me shit gets priced really low when it gets returned from online. They were a size 8 I am normally a 7 but they fit fine with socks. I guess I wasn't in the market for a pair of giant obnoxious leopard print platforms but $250 shoes for $19.99, I couldn't say no!

A basic heel with an ankle strap can do no wrong. It's a classic piece that I have been seeing everywhere with a modern twist and I am obsessed. There are countless ways to wear this staple shoe. Definitely a year round wardrobe essential.
